Frequently Asked Questions
-
Game On offers tennis training for kids and teens ages 3–17. Our program is structured to support beginners, intermediate players, and competitive juniors, with training groups based on age and skill level.
-
Yes, in some cases. Game On may accept children as young as 3 years old, depending on the child’s individual readiness.
Before enrolling a child under 5, Coach Darío meets with the child in person for a short evaluation. This allows us to assess basic coordination, attention span, ability to follow instructions, and overall comfort on the court.
If a child is approved to start, training begins with private lessons only. This one-on-one format allows the coach to move at the child’s pace, build confidence, and create a positive first experience with tennis in a safe and supportive setting.
As the child develops the necessary skills and maturity, we will reassess readiness for small group lessons. Our priority is always to place each child in an environment where they can enjoy tennis, learn effectively, and progress successfully.
Parents are welcome to contact us to schedule an evaluation or ask questions about readiness.

-
Yes. Game On provides beginner-friendly tennis lessons for children, focusing on fundamentals such as footwork, coordination, stroke mechanics, and confidence-building in a fun and structured environment.
-
For most young players, the best progress comes from consistent weekly training, not occasional lessons.
At Game On, we generally recommend:
2–3 group tennis lessons per week to build repetition, consistency, and match-like experience
At least 1 private lesson per week for individualized feedback and focused skill development
This combination provides the right balance between structured group training and personalized coaching, allowing kids to get more quality hitting time — which leads to better technique, stronger confidence, and faster improvement.
Every child is different, so age, experience level, school schedule, and personal goals are always taken into account. Our team works closely with families to help create a training plan that supports steady progress while keeping tennis enjoyable and sustainable.
